Uploading my latest work on designing small arms Hk416a7. 

The latest update of this state is from the 20th of October 2022. Since then, the situation for me was quite busy carrying on my portfolio account. However, progress was still ongoing for my portfolio. 




This model is a separate version from the previous object that was uploaded because it was started up based on intuition instead of precise-standard lengths measured. Before the design, the lateral photo of the original gun was fitted with the standard length of the real rifle.

I used the HK416D airsoft gun model as the source to follow up on the standard H&K, which I have access to. 

The model itself is being designed as a prefabricated version, which can be assembled the same as the real one. 



The current barrier I’m facing is using trigonometry to design connecting parts which use ISO Metric Screw Thread 60 standard-sized screw. Nevertheless, I succeeded after yielding curved edges, making them sharper.

The reason why I started this project was as a drill to learn, practice and master advanced techniques in 3D modelling, for furthermore architectural designs and printing for my portfolio.


I am quite a maniac in the field of defence, which also is one of my reasons for having an interest in modelling and designing.
