GAFL Community Helpers official project meeting on 30th of March 2023. Written on 9th of April 2023

 Following progress ongoing inside activity, after our official project meeting on 30th of March 2023.

After finishing the whole plan through the proposal sheet, we demonstrated and gathered our members among my class DP1 and PreDP. After entirely recruiting our mates, the project leader Youngseong Yun had a notification about clear plans for the following activities, especially detailed activity plans and objectives. 

Throughout the meeting, several questions were asked.

Q1: The consciousness about school meals leftover being littered instead of donations

A1: The topic is out of our boundaries, so we can’t intervene. The meal company may face trouble in cases of Bromototoxism.

Q2: Access to spaces, where precisely are we going to place donation stands?

A1: In the cafeteria place on the front entry space next to the school store. Plus empty space next to the guard’s office where vehicles enter our school. We have to get official permission from the school (Principal)

Results and confirmations

1. Meetings will be held in a periodicity of 2 weeks. 

2. We will now start to make posters and promotions to appeal to our school students to engage them in donations.

3. The food bank will be determined after check calls.

4. Food donated will be collected by rotation roles, every week and stored.

5. Donations will be held 3-4 times a year, (For 2023). Around May and in July after finals for this semester.

On the 5th of April after translating our CAS proposal into Korean and submitting it to our school administrative department, the principal granted approbation for space usage and activities.

On the 7th of April after the official approval, we uploaded financial aid application from the Office of Education for activity costs. The programme targeted students on club activities involving the field of environmental issues and education.
