The activity of 16th of June 2023

I participated in the activity “What if”(A traditional project of writing alternative history under certain topics and logic”, assumed and wrote the alternative humankind history of the world where gold is not perceived as valuable. It was a great opportunity to perceive and learn history from the perspective of materialism and economic prospects, regarding the value of gold to our world. Under the great statement that our world had not treated gold as valuable throughout its entire history, my clubmates and I wrote the alternative history of the evolution of mankind and the present shape of the world. Throughout this experience, I was able to have a chance to delve into and combine both aspects of economics and the evolution of mankind learning new knowledge and concurrently restating past knowledge I had.

What if 활동에서 인류 역사 속 금의 부재 전제를 가정하며 다각적 접근과 비판적인 관점에서 대체 인류 역사를 작성 및 발표함. 위 과정에서 인류에게 있어 금의 경제학적 가치와 물질주의적 관점에서 인류 발전의 역사를 바라보는 활동을 하였음. 인간이 금을 재화로 취급하지 않았다는 전제하에, 인류 발전의 역사를 대체 역사와 그로 인한 현재 인류의 모습을 추리함. 이를 통해 경제학과 인류 발전사를 융합하여 탐구하는 기회를 가지는 한편, 새로운 지식을 습득함과 동시에 본인의 지식을 정리하는 기회를 가짐.
