Lecture of 26th of July 2023
1. Revolve (Create sketch(Least one), Set axis(Least one), select sketch, select axis, click revolve)
2. Boolean Tools (Union, Subtract, Intersect)
3. Sweep (least two sketches (On Distinct Dimensions in perpendicular relations), Select path, Select Sketch, Sweep)
1. Revolve (Create sketch(Least one), Set axis(Least one), select sketch, select axis, click revolve)
>>> Explained the process of rotation by the usage of the mathematical concept of rotation in 3D space. Evolving with the concept of functions in calculus surrounded by straight lines revolved.
Furthermore, extended the mathematical concept to design a bolt and nut in 3D space, using the mathematical concept of initial line and trigonometry. Trigonometric functions may be observed through a sectional view of the initial line rotated over thousands of degrees.
2. Boolean Tools (Union, Subtract, Intersect)
>>> Used the mathematical concept of set theory to explain the tools, Union, Substract, and Intersect. Explained by providing the example of considering chemical molecules in a 3D space arbitrarily, and operating set theory on the 3D space, dividing the spaces by A and B and intersects and composites.
3. Sweep (least two sketches (On Distinct Dimensions in perpendicular relations), Select path, Select Sketch, Sweep)
>>> Used the mathematical concept of similarity, equidistant movement and the concept of an equidistant line(Set of points forming a line and solid) to explain the tool. Plus explained the mathematical concept of the quadrature method in 3D space considering the volume of the object designed.
Furthermore, provided the learner an explicit explanation of the tool sweep, as a singular face with a shape following a pathway line that is vertical from the given face.
The reason for updating the reflection late was to fully study the concepts of calculus in depth (I learned Calculus during the second semester of my diploma, which was the third and fourth quarter of 2023) to consciously understand the mathematical knowledge obtained.
